Full Drop-In Replacement for TI-99/4A Power Supply - No Soldering Required

Convert your TI-99/4A to a modern power supply with no soldering or cutting.

This board serves as a drop-in replacement for the internal TI-99/4A power board, utilizing pin headers to connect to the motherboard. It includes a header for installing the pigtail found in some early models. Note that some early TI-99/4A units had a pigtail on the PSU, which this will not directly plug into. You can remove the Molex connector on this PSU and connect the wires from your old supply.

It operates using a regulated 12V DC external power supply, requiring at least 48 watts (4 amps). It is certified for up to 4 amps and utilizes 18-gauge wire. This supply provides up to 3.5A on the 5V line, ensuring ample power for sidecar devices like TIPI and Speech.

To install, simply open up your unit, unplug the old supply, plug in the new one, and position the new input jack at the rear of the 99/4A.  Comes with a 3D printed plate for easy positioning.
